BREAKING: Brendan Rodgers Drops Unexpected Bombshell Update on Celtic Superstars Who Were Ruled Out of Training Ahead of Crucial Kilmarnock Showdown

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has provided an update on his squad for the Club’s match with Kilmarnock tomorrow. Rodgers said: “We are delighted with the performance on Wednesday night against a very good team in RB Leipzig and we now look to carry that into the weekend.

Rodgers gave the fitness update for two of his key players with Scottish Premiership action just around the corner. Morris said Cameron Carter-Vickers and Auston Trusty both missed training as a precaution. However, the manager is hopeful that the squad will be in good condition for the match despite missing training.

Veteran midfielder Trusty, a summertime acquisition from Sheffield United who has been a constant within the XI since arrival, is being monitored to minimize any injuries sustained on the pitch. Carter-Vickers, however, has faced problems with his knee and a toe since the start of the season.

The Kilmarnock fixture is demanding enough and as he prepares for them this weekend, Rodgers has players’ welfare in mind, partly with the indelible after-effects of playing on Rugby Park’s plastic pitch. Expect a Celtic determined to keep the momentum going.
