Pierce Charles, his compatriot, also posted a clean record in the team’s world cup qualifications round only to be matched to a 2-2 stalemate against Luxembourg.
However, the most difficult game that was thrown to Di’Shon Bernard was a game for Jamaica in the entire competition. Playing in the USA, Bernard made an own goal and, besides, failed on the defensive line when the team conceded four goals. He, notably, received the overall rating of 5.9 by Sofascore, forcing the team to share the title of the worst outfield player who did not score any goals.
Despite this, Bernard did some good with the ball; he had the highest touches and accurate passes for the Jamaicans. However, the match with the USA became a nightmare for the defender, proving once again how roller coaster the life of professional footballer is at the international level.
