AC Milan Announced Signing Destiny Udogie from Tottenham Worth

AC Milan is reportedly keen to acquire 22-year-old Italian international Destiny Udogie from Tottenham Hotspur during the upcoming summer transfer window. As per a report by Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, the Rossoneri have shown interest in Udogie, aiming to bolster their defensive lineup by adding a left-back. Consequently, the Tottenham Hotspur defender has become a target for the Serie A club.

This recent information enhances AC Milan’s chances, as the Verona native is apparently willing to make the switch to San Siro this summer. Nevertheless, Udogie is not the only left-back being considered, as AC Milan is also looking into the prospect of signing Oleksandr Zinchenko from Arsenal.

Destiny Udogie’s journey at Tottenham has been quite eventful since he joined the club from Udinese in August 2022. The 22-year-old commenced his time with the North London side in the 2023/24 season after a loan spell at Udinese during the 2022/23 campaign. While he started off strongly at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, his performances varied throughout the previous season.

So far, the Italian international has made over 50 appearances for Tottenham, contributing two goals and four assists. His market value remains high, and a return to Serie A appears possible, with AC Milan being one of the key clubs pursuing him this summer.

The interest that AC Milan has in Destiny Udogie makes sense. The Serie A outfit is exploring options for a new left-back as they prepare to part ways with Theo Hernandez, who is set to transfer to Al-Hilal for £22 million this month. This situation necessitates AC Milan finding a long-term replacement.

Thus, Udogie has surfaced as a potential candidate for the Rossoneri, who see him as a “dream signing” for the summer transfer window. The recent developments have strengthened AC Milan’s position, with the Tottenham wide player showing openness to joining the Serie A club this summer.

However, the 22-year-old Italian international isn’t the sole left-back on AC Milan’s list, as they are also contemplating a move for Oleksandr Zinchenko from Arsenal in the upcoming transfer window. This strategy seems prudent for the Rossoneri, especially since Tottenham’s intentions regarding Udogie’s future remain uncertain.
