Recent reports suggest that Atlético Madrid is not backing off its interest in Cristian Romero. Spanish publication AS noted earlier this week that the La Liga club is engaged in ongoing discussions to acquire the Argentine defender. Daniel Levy poses a considerable obstacle in Diego Simeone’s efforts to secure Romero, but Atlético is highly motivated to sign the 27-year-old, making this a situation to monitor closely as the summer progresses.

In addition, Son Heung-min might also be nearing the conclusion of his ten-year tenure at Spurs.

Son has recently garnered interest from Saudi Arabia and Los Angeles FC, with Levy allegedly setting a £50 million valuation on the South Korean forward.
