AdminBen Te Kura seems poised to follow the path of Australian NFL sensation Jordan Mailata after a stunning report revealed that the imposing Broncos prop has already met with two NFL organizations.
It has come to light that the New York Jets and Detroit Lions are “definitely” keen on securing the massive Broncos player immediately.

As per Code Sports, the Lions and Jets expressed interest in the 205cm, 122kg Te Kura back in February, being quite impressed by the 21-year-old’s agility, considering his size.
Dwane Bugden, an NFL agent based in Australia, mentioned that Te Kura could effectively embark on his NFL career as soon as today, should he choose to do so.
“The interest is absolutely sincere,” Bugden commented to Code Sports.
Both New York and Detroit are very enthusiastic about Ben.
Te Kura is under contract with the Broncos until the end of the 2027 season, but the club is reportedly open to a transfer if he wishes to depart early.
“He would have moved this season if not for his contract with the Broncos, so he had to consider that,” Bugden explained.
“They are extremely eager. They would sign him tomorrow, and Ben will evaluate his options at the conclusion of this season. ” Officials from both the Lions and Jets are optimistic that Te Kura could emulate Mailata’s success.
Originating from western Sydney, Mailata played junior football for Souths before beginning his NFL journey in 2017 through the International Player Pathway Program.
In just a few short years, he has achieved remarkable success, becoming one of the league’s top and highest-paid offensive linemen.
In February, Mailata’s Philadelphia Eagles celebrated victory by lifting the Lombardi Trophy after defeating the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59.
Te Kura, however, has struggled to secure a consistent position in the Broncos’ first-grade lineup this season, with only two appearances to date.
In a discussion with Code Sports, Te Kura acknowledged his interest in possibly joining the NFL someday, but he is focused on the present.
“Right now, my focus is on rugby league. My priority is to earn a Broncos jersey, but the NFL could be a future interest,” Te Kura stated.
“I’m content at the Broncos, and my aim is to demonstrate my capabilities in the NRL. However, you have to prioritize what is best for you and your family.
“Looking ahead, it’s an option for me. . . Certain opportunities only come once in a lifetime. ”
