Eels players were frustrated and voiced their complaints to the game officials after a Cowboys trainer got involved in the action near the end of Parramatta’s exciting 19-18 victory on Sunday evening.
Fans expressed their anger online, and Fox League commentator Andrew Voss was quickly outraged when he saw the North Queensland trainer come onto the field while the team was trying to move the ball away from their end.

After a high kick by Mitchell Moses, the Cowboys accidentally threw the ball at a trainer while Eels player Josh Addo-Carr was near it, ready to grab it.
The situation got tense when Braidon Burns passed the ball behind Semi Valemei, and it rolled to hit the Cowboys trainer in the leg. Then, Cowboys player Jaxon Purdue jumped on the ball, but Eels players immediately protested to referee Liam Kennedy.
If it weren’t for the trainer, Addo-Carr might have reached the ball first, and he could have also tackled Purdue in the goal area.
Voss, while on Fox League, quickly urged NRL chief Peter V’landys to take measures regarding the situation.
