The Broncos are going to miss three of their best players for the rest of the season after a terrible injury report from their loss to the Storm.
Adam Reynolds and Ezra Mam both hurt their hamstrings while trying to catch Xavier Coates during the game, which ended with a score of 22-2 in Melbourne.
Then, in the last few minutes of the game, star player Selwyn Cobbo had to be helped off the field with another hamstring problem, adding to the list of injuries from the match.
Now, the Courier Mail has stated that both Mam and Coates are probably going to be out for the entire season after their scans on Friday.
At least there is some good news about Reynolds, who is expected to be back in time for the finals if the Broncos, who are currently in sixth place, make it there.
Reynolds has a chance to play in the last regular-season game, which just so happens to be against the Storm again, but it’s more likely he will return for the first week of the finals.
“We’ll have ‘Reyno’ back this season,” coach Michael Maguire said.
“The physios and doctors were quite optimistic on Friday morning. He has been through this before. ”
